During the warm summer months, a sheet will suffice. The cassettes ensure that sufficient air can be absorbed which is heated by your own body temperature. The 4-season duvet consists of a 'medium' half and a 'light' half. The lighter half is ideal for the summer months. A real down usually does not need to be washed, but should you wish to do so, follow the washing instructions carefully and then put it in the dryer with a few (tennis) balls, these will loosen the filling well.
