TRP Charvet has been based in Armentières for over a century. Since the Middle Ages, this northern French town has been known as the "city of cloth", producing the finest cloth for sheets in cotton and linen yarns. In those days, TRP Charvet specialized in the production of cloth for sheets, work clothes and cotton outdoor fabrics.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the company diversified its offer to all industrial markets by weaving linen, the material of choice in Flanders where crops abound.

Today, the company's fully modernized production facilities enable it to manufacture widths from 40 to 330 cm using natural materials such as linen and cotton, as well as polyesters, HT polyamides and aramids for technical applications. For over a century, TRP Charvet has combined experience and innovation in its capacity as a weaver.

This know-how has enabled us to create an offer entirely dedicated to the world of home and decoration. Tea towels, of course, but also aprons, table linen, bed linen and accessories (bags and cushions), all 100% French, woven and made in our workshops.
